Wadaslintang Reservoirs Central Java Indonesia - "Wadaslintang" Reservoirs is a reservoir located in the District Wadaslintang,
Kebumen, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Reservoirs "Wadaslintang"
located in the southern part of the District Wadaslintang bordering Districts Padureso
in Kebumen. Reservoirs "Wadaslintang", is a unique attraction, due to
its location on the border Kebumen and Wonosobo regency. Most of the standing
water is Wonosobo district, while about 1133 hectares, including office
buildings, dams, power plants, and the two parent lines are Kebumen region.
The reservoir has several important functions that sustain life in the surrounding community. Some of the main functions of reservoirs “Wadaslintang" among others, as irrigation, power plants, pond fishing, tourism, prevent flooding, and water reservoir to supply during the dry season.
This reservoir using
"Kali Gede" as its main source of water with a few small tributaries
that supply water to the other woods reservoirs "Wadaslintang". Dam
construction process is done in the reign of President Suharto. It took 7 years
